The American space agency discovered seven exoplanets with the same size as Terra, located in the same solar system, known as Trappist-1.

According to NASA, the solar system is located at 40 light years from the Sun and, apparently, it might be able to sustain life.

The incredible announcement was made by the researchers during a massive press conference.

As reported by the NASA experts, at least three of these exoplanets have the right temperature to allow any extraterrestrial life to live there.

Moreover, these three planets also host oceans.

This is a big deal for the world, considering the great discovery is the first of its kind.

The American astronomers used the Spitzer space telescope and other terrestrial telescopes in order to transform the mission into a success.

They are quite optimistic regarding their next task of analyzing if, indeed, there is any form of life on these formations.

If they don’t find any form of life, they believe that can be changed with their help.

Moreover, Trappist-1 consumes Hydrogen at a very low speed, so it will last for another 10 trillion years.

The massive breakthrough represents a new record in the field of space research because this is the first time when a solar system hosts seven planets with similar dimensions as Terra.

The Oxygen present in the atmosphere is the most important aspect. If they will find discover O2 molecules into the atmospheric layer, the discovery will be labeled as a ‘very powerful proof’ regarding the presence of some kind of life form.
