This is Passat CC’s successor: meet Volkswagen Arteon

Volkswagen Arteon is a worthy successor of the traditional Passat CC and it will be unveiled in Geneva next month.

Although its price will not accessible for everyone, the incredible bolide represents an emblem for the category of coupes with four doors.

The German carmaker revealed the first details regarding their latest masterpiece a few days ago.

According to Digitaltrends.com, the short video footage published on Volkswagen’s official Youtube channel shows that Arteon is inspired by the Sports Coupe GTE concept presented two years ago in Geneva.

The design was smoothened and its less futuristic, despite the fact the bolide ‘borrowed’ all the elements of the concept mentioned above, especially the sporty ones.

Wider and longer than CC, Volkswagen Arteon has a larger MQB modular platform and its equipped with four-cylinders turbo engines, seven velocity stages, a double clutch and automatic transmission.

Of course, the traction is integral

The turbo engine has a capacity of 2.0 liters and 280 horse powers.

One thing that we know for sure is that it will be available for sale in 2018.

The German company announced the model is included in a more superior class than his predecessor CC.

That means it will be far more expensive and, of course, more luxurious.
