Instagram is reinventing itself again through photo carousels

Instagram has gone through a series of bushy updates in the recent months, but this might be the most radical one added to the classic Insta ‘recipe’.

We do not know exactly why Instagram wanted to radically change the way we use the social network.

But, the change announced in the last 24 hours is completely different from what it had been done in the past.

For the first time, a single post can incorporate up to 10 elements, photos and short clips.

Starting from the idea that a single image can not convey the entire message, officials have decided to integrate the possibility of posting 10 photos in a single snap.

There have been speculations on this update for a long time, but it seems that now Insta folks took some action in this direction.

From one point of view, it’s just a more ‘distinguished’ slide show, but the visual impact is really significant.

To use the new feature just start by posting a single image.

Immediately after, you’ll see a square button in the lower right corner. By touching it, you’ll have the opportunity to select another 9 images or video clips to attach to the original post.

As long as you have the photos in your library, they can be used in a post with a maximum of 10 items.

You can change their order using drag and drop and when it comes to filters, you can opt for one only or use a different filter for each item.

A set of blue dots at the base of your post will notify your friends there are more images.
