Claudio Ranieri says good bye to Leicester

This morning, Claudio Ranieri went to say his farewell to the team. The manager had to drop from Leicester City.

He went where the players were training to say his good bye to them.

His departure shocked the sports world. He was dismissed after his club was defeated in the Champions League match against Sevilla.

However, his biographer has different opinion about his departure. Gabriele Marcotti thinks that he had to leave because of the tensions he had with the staff. The one that created the most tension was Craig Shakespeare.

As he left the training complex, Ranieri revealed to the media that now he is doing better. He hopes that the team will be able to achieve the same success it had while he was part of it. He also thanked his fans who have been amazing.

Shakespeare and Ranieri used to be really close, as the first one would follow the manager everywhere. But, as usual, their strong personalities didn’t clash. They had different ideas and eventually, mistrust occurred.

Now, Shakespeare is training the team. It was his first time. They have to prepare for the game on Monday against Liverpool.

The owners of the club were aware of the tensions from inside. They tried to do something about them. Today, they were there to say good bye to Ranieri.

Regarding Claudio’s departure, Shakespeare declared that it is sad, but it was the owner’s decision after the poor results. They hope to remain in the Premier League and get better results.

In the statement he released yesterday, Ranieri revealed that his dream died with this departure. He thanked his family and fans for the immense support.

The news was shocking for everybody, as the 2015-2016 season was fantastic.
