Extraordinary event will be seen on the sky this Sunday

This Sunday, we will be able to see a rare and breathtaking event on the sky. This is called a ‘ring of fire’ and is basically an eclipse.

The process is simple: the moon will move between our planet and the sun and that’s how we will see the ring.

This will be seen mostly by the ones is South America and in the south part of Africa. Even if you don’t live in these area, there are plenty of platforms online that will share this great experience.

This event is known as an annular one. Is it very much alike a solar eclipse, but what makes it appear so different is the Moon that is located away from our planet.

On February 26^th, the Moon will be at the largest distance away from Earth.

It will be first seen in Chile, at around 9AM, their local time. But, Argentina will have the best view, say scientists. For about sixty seconds, the moon will cover about 97% of the sun.

In Congo, the citizens will see it at sunset and will be a truly spectacular one.

This year, we will have plenty of spectacular events seen on the sky. On August 21st, the US will experience a great eclipse. The Sun will be then completely covered by the Moon.

This month, on the tenth, we had another eclipse that was followed by a comet.
