After playing against each other at the Australian Open, Roger Federer and his longtime rival, Rafael Nadal, will face each other on the field once again. Last time, Federer won, but we’ll have to wait and see how things are going to go in the quarter finals at Paribas Open.

Federer just beat Steve Johnson in a spectacular game, which brought him to the big game. The score was seven to six. He managed to beat his adversary in all the sets they played.

Nadal got the victory against Fernando Verdasco. The score was 7 to 5 and 6 to 3.

The two have faced each other in court for thirty six times in total. Nadal beat the Swiss for 23 times. The game will be incredibly tough for the both of them as they are tough competitors.

The victory over Johnson was Federer’s fiftieth at the Indian Wells. In an interview, he revealed that he knows Nadal is a very tough competitor, he manages to make even the most difficult moves look simple.

Even his last win over the Spaniard was difficult. For a while, Federer even thought that he was going to lose the game, but he fought hard and succeeded.

In spite of how hard this game will prove to be, Federer is really excited about it and can’t wait to participate.

The game will take place tonight. If the Swiss wins, then this will be his third victory in a row against the Spaniard.
