The 59-year-old Chinese has completely changed her physical appearance by resorting to plastic surgery in order to get rid of a $3,71 million dollars debt, writes Xinhua.  

The woman fled to Shenzhen shortly after a court from Wuhan compelled her to pay up the incredible amount.

However, after the Wuhan authorities have received clear information the woman secretly established in Shenzhen, they went after her.

Unfortunately for the policemen, the part in which they had to identify her was odd, to say the least, because she didn’t look like the person from the mug shot at all.

“We were very surprised. She looked like a 30-year-old woman and completely different from the pictures that we had”, a policeman has revealed.

The woman confessed that she was using other people’s identity documents to travel by train from one city to another and paid her plastic surgeries with credit cards.

The entire country is currently facing a major debt-problem because the number of debtors has doubled in the last 10 years, despite the measures adopted by the bank and authorities in terms of helping people to, slowly but surely, pay their loans.

After the situation got even worse, a court in Jiangsu Province decided to make a blacklist of China’s worst deadbeats and monitor their phone calls.

So, from now on, every person in China who will receive a phone call from a debtor, they will first hear a message about his current financial situation.
