Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt postponed their divorce after the actor “stopped drinking and tried to win back Angelina”

The couple who broke up in 2016 after just two years of marriage and 10 years of relationship would have canceled the divorce after Brad Pitt gave up alcohol and struggled to regain Jolie’s trust, writes contactmusic.com.

A source close to the former pair revealed: “The divorce is canceled. They have not done anything to continue, and no one thinks they will.”

“He gave up alcohol and tried to win her back. He knew he had a problem he was supposed to take care of. That’s what Angelina wanted in all this time”, has added the source.

Angelina, who has six children with the famous actor, still loves her former spouse and her friends claim they would not be surprised if they would reconcile.

The source added for Us Weekly that “everyone thinks they will reconcile. It would not be surprising if he announces that he is canceling the divorce and try to reconcile. She still loves him a lot.”

Recently, the actress confessed she was grateful for maintaining a civilized relationship with Brad for the sake of their children and insisted that their intimate life was not “negative” at all.

“Our lifestyle was not negative in any way. This has been and will remain a wonderful opportunity that we have been able to offer to our children. We still heal from the events that led to the divorce. We’re not recovering from the divorce. We heal from the things that happened to us in life”, Angelina has said.
