Game publisher, Bandai Namco and the ‘Dark Souls’ programmer FromSoftware, have formally disclosed the details for its first downloadable content (DLC), “Ashes of Ariandel,” including the expansion preview.

The coming “Dark Souls 3” DLC expansion’s story wasn’t entirely disclosed, but players will apparently discover a whole new world and discover a terrible secret. Players will travel to the frozen land of Ariandel where they must overcome the evil that resides there. The new “Dark Souls 3” DLC will feature a fresh and interesting plot where players will find the reasons for Ariandel’s ruin. There will be new bosses and “Ashes of Ariandel” will also feature several new challenges.

Players will find themselves engaged in a brand new environment full of new enemies, challenges, and folklore—as well as new weapons, armor sets, and magic—as they return the land of Dark Souls 3.

The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, and will also boast some new features for the popular competitive multiplayer mode.
