The United States expressed concern on Monday about the anti-Kurdish land operations in Syria, urging Ankara to immediately cease these military “unacceptable” incursions.

“I want to be very clear that we consider these clashes – in areas where there are no fighters of the Islamic state terrorist network – unacceptable and a source of profound concern” said Brett McGurk, a special envoy of the international coalition coordinated by the United States .

“We call on all warring parties to withdraw immediately,” the US official added.

Turkey initiated land operations on August 22 on the territory of Syria, sending in tanks and troops to help allied Syrian rebel forces to release the Jarablus city, occupied by the Islamic State terrorist network.

Gradually, the Turkish military attacked the Syrian positions of the Democratic Forces (FDS), a coalition that includes the Kurdish militia (YPG).

The Recep Tayyip Erdogan administration said that operations on the territory of Syria have a dual role – eliminating terrorist network militants of the Islamic State and the Kurdish militia expulsion from the border with Turkey.

Syria is facing, since March 2011, riots repressed with violence and military conflict between the security services subordinated to Bashar al-Assad, opposition forces and terrorist groups, including the organization of Sunni Islamic state (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria / State Islamic Iraq and the Levant). The number of deceased in this conflict exceeds 270,000 people.

Last week, Turkish tanks entered the territory of Syria in order to free the city of Jarablus of the ISIS organization. When they reached their destination, the terrorist group already flew the area.
