Queen B won the Best Video Award plus seven other distinctions, while fellow-artist Rihanna was awarded for her entire career.

Mrs. Carter definitely turned the VMA’s into a literal ladies night. After serving the ultimate performance, inspired by hit-song “Lemonade”, Beyonce took home eight Moonman statues, including the biggest prize – The Best Video award.

The 2016 VMA’s marked Britney’s grand return. The beautiful blonde took the stage after a ten years gap.

Although Britney’s performance was long-awaited by the fans, Bey stole the limelight.

Jay-Z’s wife made the packed arena from Madison Square Garden go crazy, performing a series of songs from her “Lemonade” album.

The organizers announced Beyonce’s performance three hours before the show started. The singer joined the red carpet with her “Mini-me”, Blue Ivy.

Allegedly, Blue Ivy wore a custom tutu dress worth $11,000, while her beautiful mother opted for a Francesco Scognamiglio couture gown and Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry worth $13 million dollars.

The “Formation” video surpassed Adele’s hit “Hello”, Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Kanye West’s controversial “Famous”.

These wins bring Beyoncé total VMAs tally to 21 wins, officially breaking Madonna’s previous record of 20 to make Beyoncé the most decorated VMA winner of all time.

Rihanna gave the performance of her life. She mixed hit songs “Rude Girl”, “Diamonds” and “Only Girl”, serving the sickest show.

Drake handed her the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award while kissing her on the cheek. The two sparked rumors regarding a possible romance way before the VMA’s.
