New Streaming Feature From Blizzard Enables You Stream Your Battle.Net Games With Facebook

Blizzard announced earlier in June that it will release a new user-friendly partnership deal with Facebook that enables you to stream most of your battle.net games on Facebook. With Live streaming developments, not being too alien to the Facebook world, this development enables users’ have access to their Facebook profiles to the live streaming feature of battle.net games online.

To access it, users have to connect their battle.net account to Facebook. This feature is currently available only in America, south East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, however, work is being done to expand this to other regions.

Even though live streaming could be done with little or no difficulty, little work is required by the user in selecting a streaming site and setting up the software. However, Blizzard services put its users at an advantage by creating this platform for accessing their games. This is also in conjunction with a statement from the executive vice president of Blizzard Cooperate Operations. He stated that it’s important for Blizzard to provide players with features and services that make it easy and fun to share their experiences with each other.

Once you are logged onto Battle.net, wait for an update of the latest version. Once online, at the upper-right corner of the main battle.net screen, select the movie camera icon. You will be instructed to connect to your Facebook account from battle.net. Alternatively, you will have to provide a title for your stream and choose a microphone and or webcam enablement, when the stream launches. Set your privacy parameters for the Facebook-linked stream. You can now share your gaming progress with friends on your Facebook timeline.

This new streaming feature is only available for PC user, and MAC users will be getting an upgrade soon.
