ISIS Video Released Shows Child Executioners

ISIS has lost a lot of area in both Iraq and Syria due to air-strikes from the US and other opponents. A recent 9-minute video was shared through an ISIS online website showcasing the stronghold of Syria and Raqqa. It was first shown via an organization called Middle East Media Research Institute that tracks and reports on communication by terrorist groups in the area.

In the video, children who appear to be as young as 10-years of age are shown claiming they are terrorists and fighting for justice as they have been told. Recently, a 12-year old boy was found in Iraq and he had a bomb around his waist. Officials helped to remove it from the boy who told them that he was kidnapped and tasked with taking the bomb to a populated area and detonating it. The incident of children being used for terrorist plots and suicide bombers is becoming more popular.

The ISIS video also shows a child warning that he at war against France, the UK and the US, along with Germany. He refers to the proponents as “devils” and states that he and his companions will create “coffins” and “dig graves” for the decided fate of those who come against them.

The children identified within the video are Abu Fuad Al-Kurdi, Al-Mashri, Abu Abdalla Al-Britani, and Yousouf Al-Ozbaki. ISIS also released video of people being executed and children were the ones shooting. It is believed that the latest video is a mass execution as directed by ISIS officials. The children are known within the terrorist community as “cubs”.

Five men are shot and beheaded within the video’s beginning. The video also has scenes of the various destruction that ISIS has carried out across the nation.
