Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin split up after four years of dating

Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin have been dating for almost four years. Right when everyone thought that these two would make the big step and get married, they broke up.

Everyone was surprised as they seemed so in love and happy together.

What made people think that they called it quits is Phoebe, who stepped out without wearing the promise ring her boyfriend gave her. Paul gave her a ring created by Cartier made of gold.

Also, ‘The Originals’ actress deleted several pictures of her and Paul from her social media accounts.

The two actors didn’t say anything about this until now. However, a source says that the couple decided to end their relationship as it has ‘ran its course’. They continue to remain really good friends.

People also think that they broke up because they haven’t been seen together out for a few months. They used to always post photos together on social media or go out together, but since December, they stopped doing that.

Wesley and Tonkin met on the set of “The Vampire Diaries”. Since then, the actress starred in the spin-off of the CW series, entitled “The Originals”.

The news of their split came in the exact same day the CW series had their last episode. Paul’s character , Stefan, sacrifices himself in the end for his brother and his girlfriend.

On the other hand, Phoebe’s show will have its fourth season premiere later this year.

Before dating Tonkin, Paul has been married. Him and Torrey DeVitto were married for a few years before divorcing in 2013. In the same year, Paul started dating Phoebe.
