The First Lady returned to New York after spending a few days at the White House.
On Thursday, Melania took some time to make a nice gesture. She went to a children’s hospital. Melania spent the whole afternoon reading books to patients.
The 46-year-old was seen leaving her house in the morning. Melania and her son live in a luxurious apartment in the Trump Tower.
She arrived prepared with several books at the hospital. She interacted with the children and read from Dr. Seuss’ stories. Melania placed the books in a large box.
Before reading, she told the patients that she wants to encourage them to read. Later, she told them to think of what the want to do later in life.
Melania wore a royal blue top, a pair of black stiletto heels, and matching pants and coat.
This is the first time the First Lady does something as volunteer work.
A day before visiting the NYC hospital, Melania did another kind gesture. This time, she was in Washington. She read books to the children from Children’s National.
She posted a picture with the children. Melania thanked them for having her and promised to keep them and their families in her prayers.
The hospital from Washington has a new garden, where patents can get better by connecting with the nature. After leaving the hospital, Melania declared that she really wants to integrate nature into our everyday lives. She thinks that a such environment is nurturing and gives positive vibes.
The FLOTUS is convinced that nature is good for the health and especially for children.
A time ago, she said that she is keen on preserving the garden from the White House.
