With fame, negative things also come along, such as stalkers. In Taylor Swift’s case, her stalker took everything way too far.
This week, the man, who is named Mohammed Jaffar, was arrested for stalking the singer. Given his posts on social media, the man was clearly up to no good.
Jaffar has been stalking Swift for years. The tweets he posted a couple of years ago for Swift have emerged online and they are disturbing. More recent ones, from February for example, are even more terrifying.
The man went as far as entering her house. He was caught by a surveillance camera as he walked through the singer’s hallways and on the roof of her house. This happened at the beginning of last month.
Later that month, he wrote on social media that he needs to see her ‘tonight’ and then sent all kids of poems for Valentine’s Day.
According to the police department, the man even harassed Swift on the phone. From the end of January though February 16, Jaffar harassed her for over sixty times.
One time, he ringed the singer’s buzzer for an entire hour and then the following day, he returned for doing the same.
In December, Jaffar went to her home and demanded to see her. Since then, everything became worse.
In the majority of his online posts, the stalker revealed his passionate feelings for the artist and praised his love for her.
Fortunately, Swift got a restraining order against him. On the sixth of this month, he was arrested for stalking and burglary.
Before Jaffar, Taylor dealt with other stalkers, but by far, this one has to be the craziest of them all.
