Natalie Portman and her husband welcomed their bundle of joy into the world.

The actress had to miss the Oscars this year as in that period she delivered her baby.

A representative of the couple delivered the news. Natalie delivered on the 22^nd. He also announced the name of the bundle of joy: Amalia. Both she and her baby girl are happy and most important, healthy.

She and Benjamin Millepied have another off-spring. They have a son named Aleph. He is now five years old. For their son, the couple revealed they wanted his name to be special and have significance. It is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

It’s still unknown what inspired them when choosing their daughter’s name, but it is probably something just as special. However, they revealed that they are waiting to see the baby so that they can choose a name.

Last week, the actress had to miss two events. She was nominated at both for ‘Jackie’. She did not win.

She was last seen out a few days before delivering. The actress was hiking with some friends and her dog.

Portman and Benjamin got married in five years ago. They collaborated on a movie together, the one that brought her an Oscar a few years ago. She won for “Black Swan”.

Her partner joined her on the red carpet this awards season. She looked breathtaking each time. Pregnancy looks really good on her.
