Barack and Michelle Obama have lunch with Bono in NYC

Barack and Michelle Obama continue to make more powerful outings. This time, the power couple met in New York for lunch with singer Bono.

The three met this Friday at a restaurant in the city that the former presidential couple seems to visit frequently. They spent quite a while inside and asked for privacy as they were seated at a basement table.

Bono and the Obamas are quite close and the couple is a fan of his music. As the exited the restaurant, all of them looked joyful.

Lately, the former president has been seen a lot in New York. His first appearance in the city was a big deal, as he was greeted by a large crowd. This time, his wife joined him.

Their oldest daughter, Malia, is currently staying in New York. He has an internship at a firm in the city. This might be a reason behind Barack and Michelle’s visits.

A night before they met Bono, the power couple had a fun night out. The two and daughter Malia visited Barack’s favorite Italian restaurant, where they sipped red wine and enjoyed a nice evening.

Maybe the two also celebrated something, like the 60 million dollars book deal they signed.

Since leaving the office, the couple looks better than ever, they both seem to glow. Barack adopted a much casual look and so did the former First Lady. They look more relaxed now.

However, they still have big plans ahead. Apart from their upcoming books, they also work on their foundation and Barack plans on returning to politics.
