Mortal Kombat X game’s director previously gave several hints about the game, and eventually, it is now certain that there will be a PC version of Mortal Kombat XL. Also, for the PC players, NeatherRealm is running beta testing to improve the online experience.
Mortal Kombat XL was supposedly launched in March on the major console platforms according to IGN. Aside from the base game, the PC version that will be released would contain the most recent DLC for the game according to reports. PC gamers have been left feeling neglected after reports say that a NeatherRealm’s spokesperson stated that both Mortal Kombat Pack 2 and Mortal Kombat XL would not be available for PC. There was no particular reason for canceling both games based on the report making gamers wonder what changed the minds of the developer and publisher. There is no new information about the Mortal Kombat XL PC version release date yet.
Relatively, the performance of Mortal Kombat on consoles is optimal, but it is different for the PC version. A streaming install error has prevented some from playing, according to reports. Also, players have reported the loss of save files after running the update that was meant to fix issues experienced by players. There are several negative reviews for the game’s PC version. Many believe that these negative reviews among other issues are the reason for the statement about the PC version cancellation. There are plans by NeatherRealm to forestall this type of situation for the Mortal Kombat XL PC version that will be released soon. For matchmaking online, GGPO net code is being looked into by the studio according to Game Rant. This should reduce game lagging.
The Mortal Kombat XL game online PC beta could be enjoyed by players via Steam till 10 AM PDT on August 29.
