Last evening, the president addressed the Congress. He received the support of his wife and his daughter.
The two’s fashion choices caused some controversy.
The First Lady chose to wear a black suit with sequins. The suit was paired with a belt in the waist. Melania left her hair straight. She must be the first FLOTUS in history to wear sequins to such an event.
The outfit was designed by Michael Kors. It is straight out of the spring collection and the price is not too reasonable. The First Lady paid no less than $9.590.
The designer praised his work and said that his suit is perfect for spring. Sexy is in the trends this season.
People blasted Melania on social media. They think it was inappropriate to wear something like this to this event. Some wrote that she looks like Joan Collins and others think that she dressed like she is going to a New Year’s Eve party.
Ivanka Trump also received backlash for the outfit she chose. She chose a pink dress. While the women of the presidential family are encouraged to wear American designers, the two won’t still respect this.
The creation is made by Roland Mouret Rawlings. It is worth $3000.
Some thought that the dress was not appropriate as it was a cocktail dress.
Earlier during the day, the two ladies attended a ceremony for singing bills for women. The both of them chose to wear red. Melania wore a dress, while Ivanka opted for a suit and a black choker.
