Tremaine Aldon Neverson or Trey Songz as people know him was involved this Wednesday in a scene that leads to him being arrested.

A police officer from Detroit says that the singer was arrested due to throwing microphones and speakers at the public from the stage.

The singer was there to perform at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

The police department from Detroit says the artist was “upset and belligerent” after he was told he needed to end the concert at 11:30 PM and leave. As objects were thrown from the stage, a police officer was struck in the head.

Songz was arrested immediately after the show. He faces the malicious destruction of property, resisting and obstructing charges.

The police declared that he was held at the Detroit Detention Center until early Thursday.

According to Detroit News, Chris Brown and Lil Yachty also performed that night at the same concert.

Songz is no stranger to being arrested. Back in 2012, he was arrested after assaulting a woman with money. He was in New York when he threw dollar bills at a woman. Inside the club he was performing in, Songz got involved in an altercation. The woman was a stripper. He wasn’t arrested that night but faced accusations a month later.
