Even though she is on a break to treat herself for anxiety and depression, the famous pop star will still be out of new material in 2017 thanks to some collaborations.

During an interview with Vanidades, Mexican pop sensation Paulina Rubio said that her new album, that is hitting the shelves sometime next year, will feature a song made with Selina Gomez and DJ Snake.

This, the first album Rubio will release since her 2011 album “Brava!,”, will mark a new direction for the singer as she tries to tackle with different musical genres. “I tried to keep a key element: that the music is danceable,” she said to Vanidades.

A collaboration with Gomez and DJ Snake might do just that, as both are known for creating hits that fill the dancefloors of clubs across the world.

Selena Gomez has released two studio albums, one compilation album, one extended play, ten singles, three as a featured artist, six promotional singles and eight music videos. In 2008, Gomez first signed to Hollywood Records. Gomez’s first EP, Another Cinderella Story, was released on June 16, 2009, by Razor & Tie. She released her first solo album, Stars Dance, released in 2013, which debuted atop the US Billboard 200 chart, and also reached number one in Canada. It was preceded by the release of its lead single, “Come & Get It”, which reached the top ten in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
