Greek ambassador killed in Rio de Janeiro is the most recent that shocked the entire world.


The diplomat was on a holiday in Brazil.


The Brazilian police found his lifeless body in an inflamed vehicle. The registration numbers match with to the exact car that the diplomat had rented during his vacation.


The local daily “O Globo” looked analyzed every detail of the drama.


According to them, the diplomat was on holiday in the Brazilian metropolis and he ceased to give signs since Monday.


Today, police forces have found what is believed to be his car on fire in the neighborhood of Nova Iguacu. By this time, the police are yet to confirm that if the car belonged to the deceased ambassador.


Greek authorities immediately went on a high-spread alert.


However, they refused to confirm the hypothesis of death, suggesting that Amiridis is somewhere in Rio and its absence is somehow normal.


On the other hand, Rio de Janeiro police investigations continue. They exclude the possibility of a kidnapping because the kidnappers would’ve asked a potential reward for the official Greek until now.

Kyriakos Amiridis, 59, was last seen on Monday evening leaving the home of friends of his Brazilian wife in a suburb of Rio’s metropolitan area.
