Super Mario Run is the first Nintendo game that has the famous Italian plumber as a protagonist. The game already appeared on iOS smartphone devices and has already been downloaded by 50 million users.

It seems that those who use Android smartphones will not have to wait a long time until they can try the game as it is already available in pre-order on Google Play Store and will be released in early 2017.

Nintendo has already published on its official website the link where Super Mario Run will be available and users can already sign up to be notified as soon as the game is released.

A similar strategy was discussed by iOS officials, where users could sign up for notification since September, when the game was first announced, despite the fact that its launching took place on December 11.

The game is free to download and test in a demo version, with only first three levels of 24 available. To unlock the rest of the content, Nintendo requires a 10 euros fee. The game lacks other micro-transactions, as we have become accustomed in recent years.

Despite the popularity of Super Mario Run, the negative reactions of users already appeared: the game requires to maintain a permanent Internet connection and its price is too high.

The game surpassed all records for downloads, reaching 50 million devices in just a few days.

Although the figures are impressive, they do not approach those recorded by Pokemon GO. Three weeks after launching, it generated a revenue of $ 10 million per day and reached 100 million downloads.
