As president elect Donald Trump moves forward with his plan to repeal ObamaCare, President Obama plans to meet with key Democratic lawmakers in hopes of coming up with a viable strategy to defend the controversial healthcare act.

A joint meeting between Senate Democrats and House Democrats is scheduled to take place next Wednesday and Obama is expected to share his concerns about Congressional Republicans and their ongoing plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

The fact that the Congressional Republicans have yet to come up with a viable replacement plan is a major concern and a repeal is expected to create major short term chaos in the health care system. Republicans are also attempting to fast track the repeal, which means that time is of the essence.

However, Republicans are reportedly planning the delay the repeal in response to these concerns, in an effort to find a workable replacement plan. Leading Democrats are organizing rallies against the repeal and have been ad campaigns in states such as Nevada and Arizona, where Democrats are viewed as having a chance to win a seat at the Senate.

For their part, Democrats are fighting the continued healthcare rights of 20 million citizens, who would all experience some form of healthcare disruption if the Republican plans for repeal are pushed through.

ObamaCare supporters have received some good news, as it was revealed that ObamaCare insurer finances have improved greatly, according to reports from S&P, serving a major selling point when it comes to the overall stability of the plan. The report also stated that insurers could also reasonably hope to expect continued improvements in 2017.
