West Ham has been linked recently with a loan transfer of Marcus Rashford, the young striker from Manchester United. But, according to their manager, Slaven Bilic, that is not even close to being true as he sees the rising star remaining in the Devil’s squad when the January transfer window closes.

With the young players game time taking a severe cut with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rashford has struggled to get more pitch time trying to impress manager Jose Mourinho.

Even if West Ham is interested in acquiring an English player that has Premier League experience he was quick to deny the Rashford rumors.

“No way,” Slaven Bilic said at a press conference. “Rashford is very valuable for Manchester United. There’s no way. There’s no way to get him. They have many games, four competitions. He’s playing. So no way. No way.”

The West Ham club has also been rumored to be interested in the Juventus full-back Patrice Evra and Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe as they are preparing to face the champions Leicester on New Year’s Eve, but they keep their options opened as agents around the world should start bringing in offers.

“We are the club that is linked with the most players in Europe! Every player that is available, it is always West Ham. It’s that time of the year. You have the agents calling. I think we have a good principle. We have chairmen, there are me and my staff, and we are working quite well.”
