In a response to President Barack Obama’s announcement that he will deport 35 Russian diplomats as a result of the cyber attack on the US election process, came quick and in a rather amusing way from the Russian side.

Even though the official response of Moscow is that they will evict U.S. diplomats in retaliation, the Russian Embassy in the United Kingdom to a more amusing route in their response. Using Twitter they posted the image of a baby duck with the message “President Obama expels 35 diplomats in Cold War déjà vu. Everybody, including the American people, will be glad to see the last of this hapless administration.”

The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, took action this Thursday when he sanctioned Russian intelligence agencies and their leadership, expelled 35 Russian officials and shut down two Russian-owned building in the U.S. It has been the strongest move the Obama administration made since the cyber attack controversy started.

“These actions follow repeated private and public warnings that we have issued to the Russian government, and are a necessary and appropriate response to efforts to harm US interests in violation of established international norms of behavior,” the President said in a statement. “Russia’s cyber activities were intended to influence the election, erode faith in US democratic institutions, sow doubt about the integrity of our electoral process, and undermine confidence in the institutions of the US government.”

This action has received praises from both Democrats and Republicans on the United States political stage.
