There might be more episodes of Gilmore Girls on the way

This Wednesday, Netflix posted a tweet that will have the passion rise in the fans of the popular show Gilmore Girls.

This year’s comeback on Netflix during the Thanksgiving weekend was called a stand-alone moment made to give the fans of the show, and to its creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, a certain degree of closure. That was all negated by Rory’s last four words of the show which left a big door open in the story and a chance for a new set of episodes.

Lauran Graham, who brilliantly portraits Lorelai Gilmore, believe those last words to be more a cliffhanger than a closed and shut conclusion to the series. Fuel was added to the fire this Wednesday when Netflix posted their teasing tweet.

In it, they do a look back at Luke Dane’s daughter science project that helped her find her biological father back in Season 6. It shows the three men that Rory was involved during this revival, ex-boyfriend Logan Huntzberger, the forgettable Paul and some guy in a Wookie costume with the question who is the father.

Alexis Bledel, the famous Rory Gilmore, has stated in the past that there are no plans for further adventures in Star’s Hollow, but the right story might change that.

“It really is about telling a good story for us,” she said in an interview. “Just to keep doing more for the sake of it probably just wouldn’t feel satisfying for anybody. We just want to make sure we’re doing it for a really great reason.”
