Ellen Pompeo has third son

The “Grey’s Anatomy” star just revealed that she had a third baby. The actress and the husband, Chris Ivery welcomed their third bundle of joy.

Eli Christopher is their son’s name. Ellen announced his birth on Instagram with a picture of her husband holding the baby. She captioned it with: “Eli Christopher. Chris Ivery just fell a notch. I’ve got a new guy”.

The couple has been married since 2007 and already has daughters Stella Luna, aged 7 and Sienna May, 2. While Stella was born in 2009 by mother Pompeo, the littlest one arrived via surrogate.

The 47-year-old actress opened up last month about aging in Hollywood and how she learned how to deal with it. “You have to embrace aging … because nothing stays the same,” said Ellen.

The couple was spotted last week on a hike with daughter Stella and the baby boy.

Sources say the family is doing great.

This isn’t the first time the actress surprised everyone with a baby. Back in 2014, she didn’t announce her daughter Sienna’s arrival until after two months.

The two sisters are excited to welcome a baby brother. When Ellen had Sienna, she admits that daughter Stella wasn’t too excited after a while (“After three months, she was like, ‘Is she leaving?’”).

It isn’t sure whether the couple used a surrogate this time too or not. The actress didn’t seem to be pregnant, so everyone is thinking that this is how the baby came.

The probability of using the same surrogate again is pretty high as in 2014 they managed to keep it a secret.
