The legendary painter will be exhumed on Thursday for a paternity test required by a judge from Madrid

The outrageous decision was taken after a Spanish woman, Pilar Abel, required in court to conduct paternity test on Salvador Dali’s remains because she is 100% convinced that the artist is her father, reports BBC News, quoting the Spanish press.

Pilar Abel claims that painter Salvador Dali is her biological father

Apparently, Pilar’s mother had an unofficial relationship with the artist, during the years that she worked as a housekeeper at Dali’s mansion.

At that time, Salvador Dali was also married to his muse Gala, whose real name was Elena Ivanovna Diakonova.

Two decades after the death of Salvador Dali, who died in 1989 at the age of 85, the woman filed a legal application that gives her the right to conduct a paternity test.

Ten years ago she performed a DNA test in Madrid using hair and skin fragments that she obtained from one of the painter’s mask, but the results were not conclusive.

Now a judge has decided the painter’s earthly remnants should be exhumed to determine precisely whether Pilar Abel is his daughter or not.

“I’m looking for my identity, I want to know who I am”, revealed Pilar Abel to the press, stating that she is not looking for fame.

Pilar, divorced and mother of four children, is a clairvoyant and works for a Spanish news post.
