French singer, Barbara Weldens, dies on stage during live performance

French singer Barbara Weldens collapsed on stage at a music festival writes BBC


The exact of the 35-year-old’s death is not known just yet, but according to some information, she was allegedly electrocuted during a live performance.


Barbara was attending the 2017 edition of the music festival from Goudron, France.


She just released her first album this year and she also won an award for the best young artist.


Weldens, who grew up in a circus, had recently discovered her passion for music and was on tour with her band, which also includes a pianist and a guitarist.


The police opened an investigation without offering more details about the artist’s mysterious death.


In 2016, Barbara won the first edition of the “Jacques Brel” talent show and a “Scene Revelation” distinction at the Charles Cros Académie.


She released her latest studio album, Le Grand H de Homme, on February 3rd.
