An experiment conducted by Smart Technology YouTube channel shows what happens if you throw an iPhone 7 in boiling water.

The experiment published on YouTube in July, a smartphone iPhone 7 and it shows how the ultra-performant device is rolled in boiling water several times.

Surprisingly, the phone does not seem to be affected by this extremely harsh treatment, writes Motherboard.

The iPhone 7 has a better resistance to water, but how it will behave in the case of a very high temperature represented a mystery for the experts.

The phone is thrown into boiling water while playing a tune, to test out if the speaker will be affected. Shortly after being submerged in hot water, the smartphone stops and the screen goes completely black. The brand new iPhone 7 recovered quickly after it was taken out.

After being left for several minutes in boiling water, the temperature sensor initiated the alarm. Fortunately, the functions of the phone returned to normal in no time.
