‘Eataly World’ recently became the Disneyland of gourmands all over the world. Largest gourmet park will open in Bologna and costs no less than $ 106 million.

Italian food fans have hundreds of reasons to be happy. Bologna, the red city is the culinary capital of Italy and will welcome guests starting September 2017. It will become the largest gourmet park in the world.

The theme park will cover an area of 20 acres: 10,000 square meters of gardens and pastures, 40 workshops spots where anyone can learn how to prepare traditional Italian pasta or cheese, 25 restaurants and boutiques, 2,000 businesses.

‘World Eataly’ owners say they expect 6 million visitors a year, including 2 million foreigners, notes Bloomberg.

Tiziana Primori, CEO of Eataly World, has big plans for this giant park: ‘Using only recycled wood will be a major focus and there will be more than 44,000 solar panels.’

To facilitate walking through this park, the organizers have created 500 colored tricycles equipped with shopping baskets, and their design bears the signature of the famous bike manufacturer Bianchi. These will be the first hybrid bikes available in a retail space.

‘I thought came up with an effective way to travel, so people can move easily and be able to buy things’, says Primori.

The farm area will dazzle the visitors with olive groves, eggplants, melons, almonds, hazelnuts and more. The pastures will be populated with new breeds of cattle, including Chianina and also five breeds of pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, geese and guinea pigs.

Also, in 2018 there will be inaugurated and a hotel with 200 rooms.
