All 80 inhabitants of the Spanish hometown are now millionaires and not because they’ve won the lottery or they completed a joint business but simply because the village is Antonino Fernandez’ native home.

In 1949, when he was 32, Antonino migrated to Mexico, where he became the CEO of Modelo Group.

The Spanish entrepreneur died this year at the age of 99. Shortly after his funeral, the lawyers who read his will were shocked to discover that Antonino left 200 million euros to the 80 registered citizens from his hometown.

Despite the fact he didn’t return in Cerezales del Condado since 1949, when he left and he didn’t know anyone from there, he decided to leave 2.5 million euros to every single inhabitant.

‘We never had money. I don’t know what we would’ve done without Antonino.’, said the owner of the only bar from the village Maximino Sanchez.
