Bananas – magnesium and potassium content of bananas serves as a natural relaxant for muscles and brain. Also, vitamin B6 converts tryptophan into serotonin, further increasing the level of relaxation and inducing sleep.

Cereals with milk – according to the National Sleep Foundation, carbohydrates and calcium in from cereal with milk consumed before bed will help you to have a good and restful sleep.

Fish – most types of fish, especially salmon and tuna, contain high amounts of vitamin B6, which is needed to stimulate the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone.
