Whisky Fest is the first event dedicated entirely to one of the most popular drinks of all times, whiskey, will be held in November in Bucharest.

It’s for the first time in Romania when such an impressive selection of whiskey labels meet in a single event, that is dedicated to all those who appreciate the qualities of a good whiskey and want to taste such a fine drink and hear the story behind it.

Whisky Fest 2016 reveals more than 100 labels that will be present at the festival and boasts a unique selection of rarities and special products, some for the first time in Romania.

Some of the labels you will find are: Aberlour 12-years-old, An Cnoc 16-years-old, Ardbeg, Balblair, Chivas 18-years-old, Chivas Regal Extra, Glen Moray, Glenfiddich 26-years-old, Glenmorangie 18-years-old, Grant’s Ale Cask, Grant’s Family Reserve, Highland Park 30-years-old, Longmorn, Monkey Shoulder, Old Pulteney, Scapa Skiren, the Famous Grouse, the Macallan, Tullamore DEW Original.

Ardbeg was voted by most whiskey connoisseurs as being closest to perfection. The fine liquor is a smoky single malt, matured at least 10 years develops pregnant amber, ruby accents. It tastes very balanced between smoke and sweetness, complemented by spices such as chocolate, caramel, cinnamon and delicate notes of peat.

Thus, Ardbeg deserves its incredible reputation, being a whiskey that revered worldwide. In the past seven years, it was named World Whisky of the Year no less than four times.

Extra Chivas Regal is an iconic brand that no longer needs an introduction. With a rich and distinctive style, it is perfect for a modern gentleman. Chivas Regal Extra is a unique blend of the most complex and special single malts.

Deep knowledge of preparing whiskey, myths and trade secrets were passed from one generation to another, to ensure that every drop of whiskey has the same high quality.

The Macallan single malt Scotch whiskey Rare Cask was released in 2014 and includes 16 styles of whiskeys from sherry casks. Most of these barrels are used for the first time in the whiskey production, resulting in a Speyside single malt area, rich and flavorful, bursting with raisins and honey, ginger and reminiscent notes of decadent chocolate.

Whisky Fest 2016 is an event organized by The Whisky Club, Live Pro, and Mixtopia.ro. This is an event dedicated exclusively to the 18+ and a smart casual outfit would be recommended.

Whisky Fest will be held at the Press House, Marble Hall, 10th to 12th November 2016.
