The head of the former regime in Havana had a fortune of nearly $120 million dollars.

According to the same sources, Castro owned 20 luxury villas, in which he lived during his last years of life.

Also, Fidel Castro’s impressive wealth includes an ultra-performant yacht and a private island. Despite Fidel Castro’s lavish lifestyle, the average Cuban is still living in poverty, exactly as in the period in which Fidel Castrol led the Cuban stat with a firm fist.

The former communist dictator admitted one flaw: cigarillos

Fidel Castro took advantage of every single occasion to deny that he is rich. His entire life, Castro told the press that he spent an entire month with only $25 in his pocket. The only guilty pleasures acknowledged by the Cuban leader were the popular cigarillos. He also was very candid about the beautiful ladies from his life.

Ten years ago, ‘Forbes’ placed the ‘El Comandante’ in Top 20 of the wealthiest political leaders. Fidel Castro surpassed Queen Elizabeth II.

Fidel Castro’s former bodyguard Juan Reinaldo Sanchez wrote a book about his boss secret life. In the book, Sanchez estimated Fidel’s wealth at 100 million pounds and compared his ‚fishing trips’ to the hunts organized by the French Sun King. These so-called fishing trips were, in fact, lavish events predominated by glamorous outfits and lavish meals.

Fidel Castro will be cremated on the first Saturday of December in Havana, after nine days of mourning declared by the government.
