North Korea believes the nuclear test from Sunday was ‘a total success’

The Pyongyang revealed on Monday morning, the successful experiment of their new and improved ballistic missile, reports Reuters.

The North Korean national news agency announced the Supreme Leader personally witnessed the Sunday’s nuclear test and its main purpose is to verify the condition of the Pukguksong-2 missile’s engine.

‘We can proudly affirm that our missiles have the most precise impact range and Pukguksong-2 it’s a very strategic weapon’, declared Kim Jong-Un for KCNA.

In addition, the testing session from Sunday checked the reliability and precision of the solid fuel booster and the missile’s orientation system.

Using solid fuel represents a major step because it’s more stable and it can be easily transported into the missile’s container.

The nuclear experiment from Sunday took place less than a week after the last missile practice, announced a group of officials from South Korea’s Ministry of Defense.

Reportedly, the missile flew almost 500 kilometers before collapsing near the economic area of Japan’s Sea.

In March, Kim Jong-Un said his country managed to miniaturize a thermonuclear warhead, suitable to be attached to a nuclear weapon. Although his theory was questioned by numerous experts, the supreme leader claims he discovered the technology.

The miniaturization issue is essential when it comes to nuclear weapons transportation to a certain target. In addition, the North-Korean government claimed their experts developed a large-range missile, able to reach all the way to America.
