The fact that most celebrities possess an iPhone can influence our personal choices when it comes to acquiring a new smartphone.
Indeed, the fact that most celebrities are Apple users is quite obvious but there are also exceptions and iPhone is their favorite brand because the world’s most known superstars come from… U.S – the world’s most powerful economy.
However, according to specialists, when it comes to these choices, it’s all about patriotism.
Take a look at the last two American presidents, who promote iPhone because is designed by a company that originates from their own country.
This rule also applies in South Korea, where most pop stars use Samsung devices.
Donald Trump’s ‘buddy’, Vladimir Putin, once said he doesn’t own a smartphone, but he was later spotted with an Android device specially designed for him by Russian company MTS.
German chancellor Angela Merkel uses a Blackberry with an additional encryption chip while her American counterpart was forced by the secret services to give up on his Samsung Galaxy on behalf of a more secure (unknown) model.
