Top Gun 2 is definitely happening, says Tom Cruise

Top Gun 2 will become a reality in the near future, and the news we’re confirmed by none other than Tom Cruise, the star of the first part.  

 

When you speak about Tom Cruise, try for a couple of minutes to separate the persona from his ties with Scientology and think about the best movies you’ve ever seen: perhaps one of these is Top Gun.

Maybe you haven’t noticed but it’s been more than 30 years since Top Gun was released and now we certainly know that its sequel will become a reality.

Better later than ever, especially because Tom Cruise is into his acting career more than ever.

In the first part, Tom Cruise brought Pete “Maverick” Mitchell to life and his colleagues were Val Kilmer, Kelly McGillis and Tom Skerritt.

At that time, Top Gun was nominated for several categories and it actually won two golden statues.

The original movie was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and the first rumors regarding a sequel appeared in January 2016.

In addition, the producer posted on Twitter a picture with him and fellow Tom Cruise, captioning “Gun 2″.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise attended Australian show “Sunrise” and revealed that a sequel second film is definitely a must.

He also mentioned something about the production, which according to him will probably will start next year.
