The Iranian administration is willing to cooperate in every way when it comes to bringing stability in Middle East stated president Hassan Rouhani on Monday during a telephonic conference with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron,  a few hours after US President Donald Trump conducted a tour in the region.

Hassan Rouhani is still hoping that Europe will not adopt the same attitude as Donald Trump towards the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During an official visit in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, the US president branded Iran as this influential and resourceful key for the militant groups from Middle East, which in reality, represents a not-so-subtle message for Tehran’s government, especially because Rouhani recently won his second presidential term.

“The Islamic Republic is ready to cooperate in every way with other countries, including France, to fight terrorism and solve the Syrian crisis”, stated Rouhani during a talk with French President Macron, quoted by Iranian news agency IRNA.

The French president took the occasion to congratulate his Iranian counterpart on his political victory from Friday.

“We should restore peace and stability in the region. We hope that Europe will not fall into the trap of countries that promote their erroneous interpretations in the region”, added Rouhani.

Paris, which disagrees with Iran over the crisis in Syria, had one of the toughest approaches during the negotiation process between Iran and other great powers in 2015, but then acted swiftly to restore its commercial ties.
