A new technology suggests an ingenious smartphone authentication method by simply analyzing your own style of moving or walking.

A portable device developed by an experienced Australian company of industrial research uses the kinetic energy generated while you’re moving to produce power.

At the same time, the device transforms your typical movements into your own authentication method.

By analyzing the kinetic energy and the power it generates, the device can memorize the difference between the amount of energy that is produced and the technology.

In this way, researchers have developed a unique device on the market able to achieve two amazing things in the same time.

On one hand the device has a technology able to capture the energy you generate while moving and on the other hand he has the ability to verify the identity of a person by using an ingenious portable device, suggests Cnet.com.

The team tested the technology on 20 different people in order to verify its functionality.

Studies have shown that the device operated with an accuracy of 95% and with a 78% lower energy consumption.

Tests to which technology has been subjected have even involved “impostors” who have attempted to mimic the owner’s movements and the prototype has accepted another user 13 times out of a total of 100 tests.

This shows the technology needs a little bit of refining but the developers are on the right track.
