Otto Warmbier’s parents: “to say he was in a coma it’s unfair”

The parents of the US student spoke publicly about their son’s death for the first time, since Otto Warmbier passed away in an Ohio medical facility

According to Fox News, the 22-year-old was transferred from North Korea in a deplorable condition.

During the interview, Cindy and Fred Warmbier revealed that Otto was not in a coma when he entered on the American territory.

“To say he was in a coma is unfair. He moves, struggled violently and made some inhuman sounds”, revealed the grieving father.

Otto was transferred in Ohio with his head shaved, with the arms and legs “completely deformed” and with a huge scar on his leg, his parents revealed.

“It seemed like someone took a pliers and rearranged his teeth. Otto was systematically tortured and intentionally injured by Kim and his regime”, accused the student’s parents.

In addition, Cindy and Fred believe that Otto was released because the Pyongyang government did not want him to die on their territory.

On the other hand, a local newspaper in the US contradicts Warmbier’s parents’ by publishing a report created by the doctor who pronounced his death.

According to this report, Otto Warmbier presented some minor signs on his body, but nothing that indicated a torture.

The Cincinnati Enquirer cites Hamilton County forensic doctor, who claims that Warmbier’s teeth were intact, and the student have died because of the lack of oxygen in his brain.

US President Donald Trump confirmed in a Twitter message that the American student had been tortured in North Korea, but he failed to provide any clear information about it.
