Just like in the previous years, this Emmy Awards Gala was not deprived by those epic/awkward moments, worthy of becoming social media memes.

This time around was Nicole Kidman’s turn to create buzz

One of the biggest winners of the night, the Aussie offered quite a show that no one will forget any time soon before she took the stage.

Nicole Kidman kissed her co-star, right in front of her very own husband, Keith Urban, who although was smiling, he made the most awkward face when he saw his wife making out with Skarsdgard.

She arrived at the gala at her husband’s arm, whom she kissed and laughed all the way through the red carpet.

However, later on, another man was destined to enjoy the love and attention of Nicole Kidman, who pretty much, made history last night.

Apparently, “the Britney/Madonna/X-tine like kiss” occurred right before Alexander was named Best Supporting Actor for his role in HBO’s miniseries Big Little Lies, where the blonde is Nicole’s husband.

The kiss was pretty textbook although tongues was not included, or at least we didn’t notice.

The moment was really “juicy” for those in the aula and sparked a massive wave of applause.

Nicole was happy for her co-str and wanted to congratulate him, but also to thank him for including her in his speech.

However, we are not sure how Keith felt in all this time, though we could notice a forced smile on his face, while he was trying to cope with the embarrassing situation.
