John Hurt remarkable on-screen performances

The Brit famous for his performances in Hellboy Harry Potter and Doctor Who was defeated by pancreatic cancer.

The 77-year-old talked about his struggle two years ago and a couple of months ago the doctors managed to treat him with success.

Shortly after the last medical reports, Hurt said he is excited about his recovery.

Before his alleged curing, the actor declared he is not worried about mortality “but it’s impossible to reach his age and not contemplate a little about this”.

“We all go through the time and occupy our chairs for a short notice. But, my treatment is going really well so I am optimistic”, said Hurt.

Despite all of these, John Hurt left this world.

He will always remain in our memories

His outstanding talent will always remain in our memory thanks to his roles from Harry Potter, Hellboy, Alien, Elephant Man and Doctor Who.

In Harry Potter, Hurt interprets wounds seller, Olivander, and in Doctor Who he is the “eight Doctor”.

However, one of his most outstanding scenes remains the one from Alien.

The character interpreted by John Hurt dies in the moment an alien comes out of his chest.

The actor had a significant contribution in Jackie, the movie about John F. Kennedy’s wife.

During his impressive career, he gathered two Oscar nominations, a Golden Globe and four Baftas.

He was married, for 12 years with actress, producer and pianist Anwen Ress-Myers.
