Movie director stumbles upon Trump’s order


The Oscar Awards ceremony transforms into a literal battlefield, due to Donald Trump’s executive order to ban the access of Muslim on the US territory.


Iranian movie director Asghar Farhadi launched ‘The Salesman’.


He was nominated for the 2017 Oscars for the best foreign movie category


Unfortunately, Asghar will not be able to attend the prestigious gala in Hollywood because of Trump’s views on the immigrant issue.


The Iranian director says he is not changing his mind unless the American authorities make an exception for him.


The new White House leader signed the executive order on Friday. According to Donald Trump’s decree, no citizen from seven Muslim major countries is not allowed to step on the American territory.

Regarding this new ‘security measure’ the Iranians don’t possess a ‘green card’ or double American citizenship is not allowed to travel to the States.


For now, the officials are not aware if such exceptions, like in the case of Asghar, will be made.


The organizers of the ceremony declared the fact everyone related to the movie industry who are banned from traveling to U.S. represents a real problem.


Asghar Farhadi compared this situation with the extremists from Iran.


“For the people to understand, they don’t have any other solution than to look through a “them and us”  mentality”
