On Friday, the president signed an executive order to ban refugees and immigrants coming from majority Muslim countries. The Immigrants, nor the Americans took the news too well.

On Saturday, only a day after the order, a mosque from Texas was burning in flames.

The Islamic Center of Victoria is located close to Houston. About 100 Muslims are members of the community. The leader had to watch helplessly as the building was collapsing under the flames.

“They said it is a restricted area for now for the investigation, so, we just prayed right here on the sidewalk,” declared the president of the center.

The fire started at about 2 AM.

The firemen do not know how the fire started. Now, they are running investigation. They asked the people of the community to help provide information necessary for the investigation. They hope the cause or the responsible will be found as soon as possible.

This news comes after so little time since Trump banned the immigrants. People are angry about his decision and protest in airports all across the country.

Refugees that were already on their way from the seven countries that are banned, had to return home. This was incredibly hard for some to take, as they have sold all their belongings to get to the states.

People are trying to help them as much as possible. A jury gave them the ones with visa permission to stay.

After the fire destroyed the place, a member of the center launched a GoFundMe page. In a few hours, they raised about $17,000. As it can be rebuild, they need about $450,000.
