Scientists plan march over Washington

After the Women’s March on Washington from last Saturday, it looks like scientists also plan on holding one.

People across America and scientists especially are worried about the climate change and how Trump will approach it.

Immediately after he was invested, the page about the climate change on the White House site was gone. Regarding the environment, Donald Trump doesn’t have too beneficial plans. He wants to bring the coal industry back, which will affect the environment.

On Tuesday, a Facebook page about the scientists’ march was launched. Until now, they have over 123,000 followers.

The date it will take place is not known yet. The organizers will announce it soon.

Like the Women’s March, Washington won’t be the only city the event will take place. Across Europe and in other states in the US, scientists will stand up for the environment.

On Monday, the organizers will release their statement. They will say the reasons why they chose to protest.

They also announced that they will release some tools so that everyone can met in the same place at once for the march.

This will mark “a starting point to take a stand for science in politics.”

They want the new administration to be qualified and have a real preoccupation for the climate. If they take wrong decisions, this will not only endanger the US, but the whole world.

Actions against Trump regarding the climate change were taken this week. A group of protesters from Greenpeace hung a banner on the White House on Wednesday.

Also, across social media, people voice their opinion on Trump and how wrong his policy is for the environment.
