Miss Universe was organized in Manila, Philippines

A 24-year-old French is the most desired women in the world.

Iris Mittenaere won this year’s edition of the Miss Universe pageant.

The high-class event took place in Manila and hosted 86 beauties from all across the globe and it was watched by millions.

Iris managed to upstage Haitian Raquel Pelissier and Colombian Andre Tovar – both considered favorites to win the big trophy.

The Lille-born beauty is 1,62 meters tall and, soon enough, she will become a dentist.

In 2016, Iris won the Miss France title and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Before winning the title, Iris said, that in case she becomes the next Miss Universe, she will initiate a massive campaign to promote oral hygiene.

According to the Miss Universe web page, Iris is addicted to sports, foreign cultures and preparing exotic dishes.

During the competition, the decisive aspect, which catapulted Iris in the final was her answer to a question about the refugee crisis.

“Having open borders will allow us to travel more and to find out, easily, what’s going on out there”, said Iris.

Miss Keny took the opportunity to criticize US President Donald Trump.

According to the beauty queen, the billionaire “was not the choice of many” and he is dividing America.

During the previous edition, Tagalog Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe title.

The 2016 competition became viral after host Steve Harvey confounded the results, naming Miss Colombia the winner, instead of offering the crown to Pia.

“Steve, I never got the chance to thank you for making me the most popular Miss Universe”, declared Pia at the beginning of the show.
