The president Donald Trump has taken his first decisions about the immigrants coming to the US. Trump signed an executive order to ban Muslim immigrants from the country.

On Friday, the president declared that he is going to take strict measures. While the majority of the ones restricted are Muslims, Trump insists that they are coming from terrorist countries. He also insists that all they bring is trouble.

After learning about this decision, people started protesting in airports and not only. Taxi drivers from the JFK airport refuse to take any customers as a sign of protest.

Seven countries are included in the ban: Syria, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. For ninety days, the travel will be restricted from this countries. As well, for 120 days, the refugee admission will be suspended for everyone.

After the news of the executive order broke, a jury took measures. On Saturday, he granted an emergency stay for the ones that live in the US and come from this seven countries.

The ones that own visas or who are in transit will be able to enter the country thanks to the judge.

Not only the immigrants are angry and disappointed, but Americans too. Trump’s action is racist.

The airports are struggling now. Everyone is confused.

Many that were on their way had to return to their countries.

On Friday, Trump declared: “You see it at the airports. You see it all over. It’s working out very nicely and we’re going to have a very, very strict ban.”

The ones that posses a green card won’t be affected by this order.
